Activities

At the Kings Lodge, there are a variety of ways residents can engage in the enjoyment of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests. We aim to meet the needs of all our patients while maintaining social integration and functional ability.
This may be in a one-to-one or group setting, and may take place within the centre or in the community.

Activities include Breakfast club, sensory room, hairdressing, bridge club, theme nights and playing with our three dogs. We encourage each person's individuality, and so we provide tailored activities to each person's taste, if necessary.

What people are saying about Kings Lodge

N PH Respite resident June 21

I wanted to say a big thank you for making my stay so lovely.  I will miss you all and I am already looking forward to coming back for my next visit.

SM – July 21

Thank you doesn’t seem enough.  B has changed immensely since being at Kings Lodge, he’s a much calmer person.  B always complained about staff and how they spoke to him, but at Kings Lodge this never happened, Kings Lodge tops the charts.  So just a big thank you to you all, you’ve made a big difference to B’s life.

MW – June 21

To all staff and management and especially the wonderful carers who have looked after my dear Richard for the last 4 ½ years

CF – June 21

A quick note to say ‘thank you’ very much for the visit we had with you a few weeks ago.  We had a great welcome from you all and it was wonderful to see Paul, hold his hand and hug him…..Please thank everyone who is looking after our much loved son so well.  To see Paul happy and content in his new home makes us feel better after all the dreadful times he has been through.
