Many of our clients have specific long-term neurological needs that can’t be met in a hospital or general nursing home. Our service provides a nursing and therapy skill set that gives patients a better standard and quality of life, and combats social isolation.

Activities

There are a variety of ways residents can engage in the
enjoyment of social activities, hobbies and leisure interests.
We aim to meet the needs of all our clients while maintaining
social integration and functional ability. This may be in a one
to one or group setting, and make take place inside the Centre
or in the community. 

Care PhilosophyWe believe that each resident is a whole person, a unique individual with particular physical, psychological, social and spiritual strengths and therefore our aim is to help you maintain and promote these individualities.

Welcome to Kings Lodge

Dedicated to changing the lives of neurologically disabled clients

Kings Lodge Centre For Complex Needs provides care for clients aged 18 upwards who have a physical or cognitive disability resulting from neurological condition. These conditions may be neurodegenerative, traumatic or genetic and require complex management in order to maintain the well being of the clients to maximise quality of life. The families of these clients also require understanding support and guidance from a knowledgeable staff team.

We aim to care for our clients using person centred planning and utilising our inhouse therapy staff, inhouse activity team, community based professional staff and the support of the wider social community.

We can offer long /short term care, respite and day care as well as palliative care. We have new facilities for ventilated clients and bariatric care. Our focus is to care for our clients within the Centre and keep hospital admissions only for absolute acute intervention. The majority of our long term clients are funded by statutory services; a number of our respite clients have direct payment.
